Mixing Timber and Painted Finishes

At Churchwood Design, we are often asked what finishes are available. Naturally, as a totally bespoke design and manufacturing kitchen business, we always say that any finishes are possible. However, we need to make clear that this doesn’t just apply to paint shades. Yes; you can have your bespoke kitchen in any paint combination BUT you can also combine paint shades with any timber finishes you like!

For example, a kitchen in a complete timber finish such as oak, can be visually complemented by a painted island to draw the eye. This works in reverse too. For example a large painted kitchen might well benefit from a few contrasting accent details and these details could be an ash, oak, catspaw oak, walnut……or indeed a multitude of other timber varieties. At Churchwood Design we are all about design and finish flexibility - no matter how large or small your kitchen might be!
